How to Compress Data:

Step 1: Navigate to installation directory through "C:\Program Files\7-Zip" (as default root)
Step 2: Open 7-Zip File Manager with double click on "7zFM.exe" file
Step 3: A new windows will be opened, Now open multiple files or select single folder which is gonna be compress.
Step 4: Click Add button from Menu bar, A pop up window will appear, Select ZIP from archive format and click OK.
Step 5: The compressed file can be located at same original file location in ZIP format.

How to Extract Files:

Step 1: Navigate to target file that you want to extract with 7-ZIP.
Step 2: Right click on it, stay mouse on 7-ZIP and select "Extract Files" from submenu
Step 3: A progress window is now appeating on screen that shows time, percent etc.
Step 4: After finishing, you will find your files at original file root

Notes:

• If you want higher compression level then select "Ultra" in compression level.
• If you want to password protect your files then "enter/reenter password" in AES-256 Encryption
• If you want to split multiple files, Select "CD/DVD/BD or size of each file" under Split to volumes, bytes
